Crested Giftware are completely dedicated to ensuring that our corporate clients and individual customers are satisfied with our services.

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the www.crestedgiftware.co.uk  & www.crestedgiftware.com website. By accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  Using this website indicates that you accept these terms whether or not you chose to order from us.  If you do not accept these terms then please do not use this site.

Introduction

 

Crested Giftware operate on a personal level with individual quotes offered to corporate clients after telephone/email conversations.  We specialise in relatively small volume orders which suit or clients. We also offer individual gifts through our 'Crested Gifts' option.  Within this section are personalised gifts which go beyond the traditional socks and slippers.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and suggest that you review them on a regular basis.  If you do not wish to accept these Terms and Conditions after we have made changes you should not continue to use this website.

 

Ordering Process

 

Making a purchase could not be easier.

For Crested Giftware the process is carried out via a series of emails within which approval of Artwork requirements and order agreement details are confirmed.  Crested Gifts are bought online by browsing through the items on offer, merely follow the on-screen instructions and place your order.  Please ensure that you enter the details as you would like them to appear on the product as amendment during the production process is not available on personalised goods. 

 

We may refuse to accept an order.

a) Where goods ordered are no longer available

b) Where there has been a pricing/product description error

c) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment

d) If the order is to be delivered outside mainland United Kingdom

 

Delivery

 

We will deliver your ordered products to the address given by you, within the order process, within 7 working days of the order being received.  Please ensure that the delivery details given by you are correct.  If details given by you are incorrect, then we cannot be deemed liable for any items which have not been received.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within our estimated time-frame, we cannot guarantee delivery or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale nor do we accept liability for loss of earnings in relation to undelivered goods.

We reserve the right to wait up to 10 working days from the date of despatch before taking further action regarding an undelivered item.  Please note personalised items may take up to 6 weeks to deliver.

 

Order Cancellations

 

Orders of personalised items cannot be cancelled once the order has been submitted for production.  If however you still require to cancel the order beyond this point the whole of the order value will still be charged.  Any items received damaged or not as expected should be notified within 48 hours, particularly if the fault of a courier. , 

 

Returns and Refunds

 

We always try to ensure that our products are despatched in perfect condition.  In the unlikely event of damage caused in transit or if your item does not match your order then please contact us at info@crestedgiftware.co.uk as soon as possible.  We will then investigate the issue and look to respond within 2 working days.  It is requested that you supply the following to aid our investigation.

a)  Name

b)  Order number and date of order

c)  Fault with the item

d)  Photographs showing the fault

 

Please be aware that you are not entitled to a cooling off period under the distance selling regulations for any items that are either made to order or are personalised.

 

Refunds can take up to 3 weeks to be actioned dependent upon the decision of our investigations.  You will be informed of our actions by email, letter or phone.

 

In the event of persistent claims from an individual or groups of individuals, we reserve the right not to replace an order or issue a refund.  Additional to this we may refuse to take any future orders from such customers, who will be informed of this action by letter, email or phone.

 

Non-Personalised Items

 

If the item ordered is non-personalised, then it can be returned in its original packaging for a refund within 30 days.  The return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.  It is recommended that items are sent by a secure delivery method that covers the cost of the item as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the post.

 

Colour Differences

 

The colour of the product you receive may not match the colour as displayed on your computer monitor.  If colour match is important to you then your order is placed at your own risk.

If your use of material on this Website results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment, software or data, you assume all costs thereof.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction


These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We do not warrant that materials/items for sale on the Website are appropriate or available for use outside the United Kingdom. It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this Website from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Miscellaneous


You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these terms and conditions.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall continue to have full force and effect.

Only the parties to these terms and conditions may seek to enforce them. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended as granting any persons who are not parties to these terms any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.


Alcohol
 

Under no circumstances are any of the products advertised on this website to be purchased either by or for anyone under the age of 18.

Products Containing Batteries


Some of our products come supplied with batteries. Here at Crested Giftware we are committed to help the environment where possible. It is important to dispose of used batteries in a safe way through the proper channels. 

Due to the chemical makeup of batteries, they should not be disposed of with normal household waste but rather through a recognized battery collection point.
